Long known as "The Electric City" for its history of being one of the first sites of practical hydroelectric power in the world, Anderson is now generating a new kind of electricity – that of Downtown Anderson.

The surge of development in the last few years has brought Downtown Anderson new places to shop and dine, with others in progress.
